“The difference between a good interior designer and a great one is usually more about superior communication, problem-solving and organizational skills than it is about taste.”

When out-of-town customers visit Casa Bella’s showroom, Pat often has a keen understanding of their design wants and needs—because she has lived in so many places both nationally and internationally, each time purchasing and redesigning her own home. Over the past 25 years, Pat has lived in New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Kentucky, Delaware, France, Hong Kong and Korea, to name a few.
Every time Pat moved to a new house, she relished doing the interior design herself. Friends often asked her to do their interior design too. All the changing residences gave Pat an extensive knowledge of homes, styles and decorating influences all over the world.
Pat’s corporate career is what kept her on the move, including stints with General Electric, US Sprint, Simon & Schuster, Sotheby’s and Dunn & Bradstreet managing everything from human resources to mergers and acquisitions to cultural integration. She is sensitive to all cultures and personal needs in making a home a personal expression of your life. Pat is also sensitive to making sure that Casa Bella is first and foremost a customer-focused, service-based store.
By the time Pat relocated to Utah, her design experiences, personal hobbies and love of the arts had combined to catapult her into a full-flung passion for interior design, and she began working in the design field.
Pat was born in Watertown, New York. She earned a BS in Arts Education from Russell Sage College in Troy, New York and a Master’s Degree in Industrial Psychology from Springfield College. |
